1. Your brief says "feel free to change any of the standard features/elements in Magento"
Is there any kind of template / format rules that I have to stay within or is there 100% room for total creativity with this design.

2. Do you have any examples of their current CI / advertising material / old website or any other kind of existing material?
This will help to establish what the personality of their brand currently has.

3. If you do not have anything re existing material, are you able to give me an idea of the personality they want the brand to have - EG. slick, corporate, informal, cheeky etc

1.  Please go for 100% creativity :-) as long as it still makes sense for a shop, meaning end user can easily browse products, add to cart and checkout.
