I need a resign for my company "Refine Financial Inc."

I am a CFO that works for a few companies but I am young and very approachable - so I do not like stuffy logo's or something that is too professional. I work in jean at my clients and directly with the staff. I'm one of the team - so an image & name that are not approachable don't sit well. My process with client's is one of continued improvements which led me to focus on "Refine" as the operating name that I'd like the logo to work with. So don't use the "financial inc" in the logo.

I would like the logo to simply use "RE:FINE". The key for me is that it looks a bit professional but is very approachable. The right font is important to this and how it will fit on a business card. I'm unsure if a box around the logo finishes it, or something with the colon but that's part of the logo design. The goal is for it to be relatively clean as I am in the financial industry, approachable yet a bit professional (not much), and uses the colon in the word mark logo design.

I will make it a play on words in my website as my core values in how I operate using words like "RE:DUCE" to explain philosophy to keep it simple, "RE:BUILD" to align structure/processes to build well and "RE:FOCUS" to know what the true purpose and goals are. None of these are needed in the logo

• word mark with the colon, a font that feels approachable but professional, something that brings it together visually. If you can see the logo for this company (http://habithq.ca/) I like the way they do their "H" and the box around. Simple, clean, friendly font. The font is very important. It can't be too fine, but be friendly and approachable. Medium thickness. I do like the font in the link for the logo used.
• a dark matte blue background - not purple.

• If there is a way to incorporate a matte blue into the color mix that would be good. Either with the "Re", ":" or the box around?

• no images. The logo should be the word mark. Stay away from colors other than a dull navy.
