Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are offering a new half marathon race in Prince William County, VIRGINIA, USA. The half marathon will travel through the Manassas Battlefield Park.

About the Battlefield: The Manassas Battlefield preserves the site of two major American Civil War battles - 1st and 2nd Battle of Bull Run. The first was suppose to be easily won by the North and put a quick end to the war. However, after a terrible defeat, the Lincoln administration and the North realized that the Civil War would be a long and costly affair. Today, the park is visited by more than 900,000 people annually.

About the race: There are many classic races in the Washington DC area - Marine Corps Marathon, Army 10 Miler, Cherry Blossom 10 Miler, etc. However, getting into DC with the traffic can be a problem. We are bringing the first long running race of its kind in Prince William County, just about 30 miles outside of DC.

We want a logo to use on websites, print ads, social media.

• It might be nice to incorporate a stylized (rather than classic) image of a cannon. I've attached an image of a cannon.

• We do not want any exact silhouettes or images of people running in the design - could be more of an abstract image however.
