I need logo & business card design for a new company (online sales, trade shows, & store front). The name of the company is Rockhounds & Relics Trading Co. We will be offering unique items including sculptural art, mixed media, handmade jewelry, metalsmithing, lapidary arts, and other various "nature arts" or items. We will sell minerals, gemstones, rocks and various other unique, mostly handmade and/or natural items, as well as personalized items. The logo text could be Rockhounds & Relics Trading Co., Rockhounds & Relics Trading, or just Rockhounds & Relics.

• I've just uploaded a few of my favorite tree images/styles, as well as a few pics of crinoid fossils & horn coral. I definitely want to incorporate the "radial" horn coral pattern into the logo somehow-probably in a sun(set)?. And if possible, would love to get an arrowhead (maybe "carved" into the tree trunk, above R+R, or with font in "trading co") and a crinoid fossil (maybe in the R's of the words "Rockhounds" & "Relics")?
• I also attempted to sketch a few of the ideas that popped into my head for the R's of R+R. I tried to make them look like Crinoids. This could be incorporated either into the trunk of the tree or to the R of the actual words. That's where you designers/artists come in. :)

• We really love trees (especially tree of life - have thought of some type of tree of life with R&R "carved" into the trunk). And rocks. I tend to favor a rustic style with everything.I love the mountains, and have also thought of having mountains in the background, with a tree of life inset as a silhouette in the center.
• My favorite color is purple. But I didn't want to specify only that color scheme because I am really open. I also love earth tones, and they may fit better. (FYI about me - I LOVE the outdoors, rockhounding, fishing, hiking, etc. But I also love anything that's sparkly, or glittery - that's what first attracted me to the rocks as a kid. And then I found a horn coral fossil, on the very day I had a fossil identification test in my college geology class (this was 2 years ago - I was 35 years old). I've only found a few pieces of horn coral, but I've found TONS of crinoids. I LOVE sunsets, and I literally have THOUSANDS of pictures of sunsets, many with bare trees, on my phone and camera's, some of which I will print and sell in my shop. :) I'll upload a few of those too!

• I don't want my logo to look like a clip-art tree. I want something unique, and rustic, yet modern & stylistic. I want it to be striking to look at, to grab attention, and for people to remember it.
