Hi,
Just wondering h envisage the menu to look, single sheet A4? or folded? Is it strictly a menu or could it combine
as an information leaflet? Your place and location look fantastic by the way (and I live in New Zealand)

Hi there!! Thanks, by the way! It has taken almost 2 years to get here, so I am excited and nervous about finally opening. I had envisioned a landscape unfolded standard 8.5x11 document. Something I can lay on each desk so that when people come in and grab a seat, it will be the first thing they see and will get them familiar with how things work.

That being said, as I tried unsuccessfully to get to sleep last night I was thinking it would also be nice to have a place for current deals and discounts to... Like, "For the month of December, all holiday bisqueware is buy 2 get 1 1/2 off", or something. And a place to announce up-coming events would be nice too: "ladies night is January xx, 6-8, so grab your girlfriends and book your seats today".

Also, it may help to know that I also plan on designing (or having someone else design) a "book" to accompany the menu, a "How-to" guide to the York River Pottery Company, explaining how we work as well as offering "chapters" explaining different techniques with lots of pictures!

Please ask as many questions as you need! I am standing by to answer them as quickly as I can!!!

Thanks again!!
Stephanie

Hello, since you are thinking about having a special events section, I assume you'll want to be able to edit the final design. Did you have a preference for the software? That's a beautiful view of the river, your clients may end up staring out the window! Thank you, Marcy

Yes!! I will need to be able to edit. I prefer Photoshop, but could muddle through I suppose with Illustrator or InDesign.

Thank you for asking and yes... but hopefully, they will just have to come back if they haven't finished painting the first time!
