Hi all, please do read my brief. I have attached a link to a page which shows many many church stock logos. I'm seeing a lot of these in nearly all the designs so far. I know myself how to do a fairly good logo and the one I already have was designed by a pro. I'm looking at taking my existing logo to the next level. I have not seen this at all so far.

Please, please read the brief, look at the examples I have included of really good and really bad.

Hi all, thank you very much for your entries. So far I'm afraid I haven't had anything that stands out as the winner. I have however thought through what I'm after a bit more.

I do like a symbol, but it needs to be very clean and simple. If for example you look at the attached logos on the brief, you will see what I mean there. I'm leaning particularly towards the styles of file 8 'Mosaic', file 6 'commission', file 2 'city church'.

On these you can see a symbol that is simple, not too crowded with overly religious symbols and looks simple and cool.

Can we try and work off of these premises? As I said in my brief,please try and steer away from cheesy Christian symbols, the cross is fine if it is cleverly and subtle in its usage. It is however not essential in the logo.

I am also leaning towards landscape with the symbol on the left. I also like the fonts used in the attachments on the brief.

Thanks and good luck, I would like to use the symbol separately for our publicity and the logo overall for our new stationary so the winner could find another job there.

Hi all, I have seen some modern brush stroke fonts which look cool. I'd be interested to see what that looks like.
