I think we need to integrate the book cover with the elements of the book:

1. child biting - biting the top of some letters, or the mark that leaves once you bit something.
2. chorizo - may not need to be literally a chorizo - maybe the "o"s in chorizo could be slizes of chorizo... depends how it looks...
3. chancing your arm - taking a risk, taking the plunge
