Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for our startup. Our company offers a mobile/cloud platform that allows citizens and cities to communicate more efficiently. It's a bit like a social web site but specializing in cities and communities. You can see an early prototype of our stuff at:

Our clients are cities. We are going for progressive mid size cities that truly want to change how things are done. We don't really have a competitor right now but you can check out http://www.nextdoor.com as something partially related.

We are open to new ideas, something bold. We expect the logo to have the company name in it...

Though using a logo with a capitalized letter is acceptable we will look favorably to any design that reflects our mission of improving cities and communities. In other words, it would be preferable that any image used within the logo conveys ideas of "being one with a city or community".

Also, our application is somewhat set in the following color palette. It would be nice (but not mandatory) that the logo use this palette too (or contain some of these colors predominantly).
