R3 Deconstruction & Demolition is an industry leading demolition company in Edmonton, Alberta. Recently awarded the 2013 Contractor of the year award for its focus on social and environmental responsibility, R3 is committed to training employees so that they have real-world skills in demolition, which gives R3 the ability to divert construction waste from landfills back into use.
The website needs to appeal to non-tech savvy general contractors who want quick answers regarding the kinds of demolition projects that R3 can take on. So flashy or ultra glitchy designs are off track.
As the project title states, the home page links to 5 primary sub-pages through the use of navigation and "banners". The home page should have a feature slider as well as calls to action for the general contractor and property manager (without saying 'general contractor'). See this example (http://themeforest.net/item/unlimited-flexible-responsive-business-theme/full_screen_preview/5061757). When I say 'banner' that could be an [image+title+excerpt] like the two 1/2 columns in the example.
One small section of the home page should be a banner about the 2013 award. And one section for blog posts.
R3 Demo wants an engaging, yet clean corporate feel that isn't saturated with the "eco-friendly" / "green" look. One section,"The Lab” (name still under going revision) should have a more personal/organic look that is sufficiently different from the other sub-pages as it is not directly related to the business services.

I will purchase a premium WordPress theme from a service like ThemeForest, and then integrate the design into the WordPress theme, the designer need only create the mockups, and then deliver the cut up Photoshop/Illustrator files.

**UPDATE JULY 15**
Just uploaded the logo and award image. Please ensure that the "O" in D-ECO-N matches the logo itself. Half the "O" is the light green and half the "O" is the darker darker green with the arrows. "ECO" itself should be green, with the caveat mentioned above. Thank you.
