Ever heard of Jet Li? Yes - the international martial arts movie star! I am Jet's American partner, and our company is on a mission to promote Taiji (Tai Chi) worldwide. If you would like to start a relationship with our company, please take a shot at this project. By the way, this is our first attempt at using crowd-sourcing so we are being a little conservative. But if this works we will definitely be doing more and bigger projects.
I need a re-design of my website. (www.taijifit.net) I am currently using Wordpress because it allows us lots of flexibility and is easy for my non-tech staff to update when needed. We don't use it for blogging, by the way.
We are called TaijiFit - a modern taiji (tai chi)-based workout. It is designed to make Taiji more enjoyable and accessible and help people experience the essence of Taiji immediately. It's also a great fitness workout - and most of all it is hip and fun.
We are basically re-branding Taiji into Western culture - "it's not your Grand-dad's Taiji!" The website has to communicate all of this to both consumers (the people who will take the classes) and to fitness professionals who will take our teacher training course.
I'm sure all of this will make more sense when you look at the current website. However, the current website doesn't have much punch - it doesn't convey the energy we want to get across, and it's really confusing to navigate besides.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: First of all - thanks to the designers who have submitted designs. Several of them have been excellent and are still on the top of our consideration list. However, the response from the list of designers that we invited was really slow to start, and we did not recieve that many ideas. Secondly, I have been traveling so much the last two weeks that I was not able to provide as much feedback as I intended. I'd like to see if giving this just a few more days will finally bring out the design we're looking for.

- Have to weave in the use of our logo, and also we like use of imagery. We're working on a video sizzle reel that we will want to feature on the site as soon as it's done.
The site also integrates eventbrite as our e-commerce tool to register people for our teacher training workshops and retreats.
We want a site that is clean, uncluttered and easy to navigate.
