Resumen de Diseño de Podcast

I'm looking for a new logo for poddirectory.com.

poddirectory is a free podcast player and a simple way to follow, discover, and play your favorite podcasts.

When I started building the site the branding wasn't my highest priority. I grabbed some clipart + photoshop and threw together something simple. Now I'd like to put a little more thought into it.

Things I like about the current logo: the simplicity and the basic color scheme. Lowercase. Color distinction of the two words. Red + black + looks good with a grey background. The grey doesn't necessarily have to stay. The red is what I like most. I'm certainly open to other ideas.

Things I'd like to change: I'd like some sort of custom microphone graphic and maybe have it tied into the logo a little better. Honestly, I don't really know. I'd like something distinct, clearly related to podcasting, and easily recognizable. Headphones involved somehow maybe?

I'll eventually need a couple different styles for the logo.

1. A version that fits where the current logo sits on poddirectory.com.

2. A mobile icon + favicon. This likely would just be a version of the custom microphone mentioned above.

3. A version to represent us on social media. This may or may not be the same as #2, but I'd probably want a version that has the full logo on it somewhere.

4. A social media cover photo version.

5. I have logos that podcasters can put on their websites to link to their poddirectory podcast. I'll need updated versions of these. They can be found at:
