The best text that is working well for the logo is where the text is joined and in lowercase, eg: digbybrown with digby & brown different colors.  The colors need to be a little more vibrant so that they stands out. The key to the success for this logo is that it needs to a symbol/icon that makes a big clean bold statement "photographer/photography".  The type of photography is travel/adventure photography.

Thanks to everyone who have followed and designed to the brief. A number of the design are simular and we feel we are probably to restrictive. So we are happy for you to use your own creative juices and create what you think will work. We happy for you to use the word photography as part of the logo but it will help if the logo doesn't need it.  Its about the brand.  So be creative and go for it.  Create what you think will work.
