Resumen de Diseño de Logo

In an effort to get a better brand for our startup company we have just changed our company and product name to "SparkleDB". Our animal symbol is the black panther - perhaps a symbol of the black panther could be on the logo? We're a company that will focus on B2B enterprise sales so the logo should be somewhat serious/business'ly looking. For inspiration you could look at what some of the other database companies out there use, look at CouchDB, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server. My personal favorite logo is MySQL's with their delphine symbol - these are just some general directions though, so feel free to play around. The logo should not use too many colors, I'm thinking 3-4 colors max. Adobe Illustrator or PDF file format are fine. Our web page is www.sparkledb.net (old Meronymy company site there still though), use the web site and the panther images for inspiration. We don't want a logo with a Serif font types.
