Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The logo is for VacationMyrtleBeach.com which is a group of resorts in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The logo should be fun but not too whimsical so that it maintains a professional appearance. One of the problems that we have had is the length of the logo. Our previous logo (which can be seen at http://www.vacationmyrtlebeach.com/media/layout/logo.jpg) is long and can't be used or doesn't look good in certain spaces. This logo is also somewhat flat and appears a little more dated than it really is. The logo that is on our current site is a temporary logo and appears that it's for MyrtleBeach.com with Vacation over the top of it.

We have attempted to produce a logo that is stacked with Vacation on top, Myrtle in the middle and Beach.com at the bottom and haven't been able to do so successfully yet. That would probably be ideal if that can be done without looking jumbled together.

Edit (7/24 10:43 EST): Please note that we are known casually as "VMB" and that VMB name is tied in to a benefits program we offer our guests. While not required to stand out in the logo, it would certainly make sense if it did.
