Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta
We need a PE t shirt design as well as sports shorts for Northlight School. This year being our 10th anniversary, it was deemed timely that a revamping of the PE attire takes place.
Our current PE attire comes across as rather dated in that it looks too plain and simple (predominantly white with 1 purple lines at each side of the t shirt.
The current PE attire is similar to the school uniform in terms of colours and design (pls refer to our website: http://www.nls.edu.sg)
The current PE t shirt is made from cotton and this makes it prone to discolouration and shrinkage. The shorts that we currently have is ill-fitting and warps out of shape after several washes.
What we would like to have is a revamping of the PE attire (top and bottom) to make it more appealing to our students and by extension imbibe in them pride when wearing the PE attire.
We are open to any design that is able to capture the Mission and Vision of Northlight school along with its values:
MISSION, VISION & VALUES
The NorthLight School aims to provide an engaging education for youth and prepare them for lifelong learning and employability.
Mission statement:
To provide an engaging career-oriented and values-focused education for youth in preparing them for lifelong learning and employability.
Vision:
A choice school of youth prepared for life and living.
Values: S.H.I.N.E
Sincerity, our way
Honesty, our foundation
Innovation, our leverage
Network, our support
Excellence, our pursuit
The school colours of purple and grey MUST be incorporated into the design. The school's logo doesn't have to be in the conventional front portion of the PE t shirt but it must be located somewhere on the PE attire. We are looking at a PE t shirt in dr-fit material with the shorts in both a male and female cut (with an inbuilt tights).
We are hoping that the completed design also reflects the Tagline of our school as a "living and learning community." Hence , vibrancy and the "hip factor" should stand out in the design.

Requisitos
Debes tener
- It must have the school colours or purple and gray. The school logo/badge must appear on the t shirt.
- Can use the school's insignia of a star as part of the design.
- Recurring patterns would be a good start.
- I have included some pics that show shooting stars. I would like to have a design that looks like those pics that starts with small stars emanating from the back of the PE t shirt and then extending to the front. The school logo would be the final star of the design. the colours used should reflect the school colours - Purple and Grey.
- Additionally, I have now included the look and feel of the current PE t shirt and shorts. Doing so only now as i didnt want to influence the designs. Based on what you see, our current PE t shirt and shorts are rather dated. It is vibrant and fun. I like bold lines that can leverage on the edges of a star as possible patterns that can appear on the PE t shirt.
Agradable de tener
- tonal value ie colour that start off as bold and transits into light shades
No debería tener
- Any words other than "Northlight School"
