Why didn't you go back to the previous designer who obviously did a good job on your last logo.

Apologies Colin - maybe I don't fully understand how it works. The design brief is similar but I understood it to be a competition.
Clearly there will be designers who are not interested and should not bother. However I wanted to give the chance to some others who actually had some good ideas on my previous project.
