thank you everyone for your efforts, artistry, and time.  i appreciate it.  although i mentioned in the brief the need to represent the american west in feel, i am going to retract that.  cowboy hats and cactus and the like and anything resembling a "old west" or "cowboy" feel i would like to steer clear of.  thank you again for your time and efforts.  i greatly appreciate it!

additionally, relative to color scheme, i am looking for cooler colors... greens and blues.  font wise, please gear towards simplicity without too much ornamentation.  i am also looking for shading within the mountains of the logo to create a small amount of 3 dimensionality.  when thinking font, please think timeless and simple.  generally sans serif, but if you have something that really works, i would be excited to see it.

i have changed my status to committed for this project, as i have seen a couple of designs which have me feeling very positive about the ultimate outcome.  thank you all for your efforts and time and artistic touches.  looking forward to completing the project.
