Just warning you about usage rights, because the photo is owned by other person. It will be complicated once the book has been printed or released.

Thank you so much for letting me know. How do I contact 'other person' who has user rights? Does this mean additional payment? CanI deal with them direct? Do you think I should abort this design, and go for something else?

respect for the designer, but this is just simply picking up other's photo and give font/title to it.
The main problem is "let say" someday the owner of the photo found out about this when your book is released and printed already.
We have to find out who is the owner, and ask for permission ( usually pay him/her too ).
It's you choice, you can keep using this design for your book or not. But internet world spread fast, i just trying to help you so you wouldn't run into trouble of copyright next time.

i submitted a design in this project, and came back to check the winner.
i expected a manually made design with creativity to be the winner.

I already tried to contact the blog's owner which this photo current place/link.
Hope she has the info of the photo owner.

But if it the other way, it's your choice, David :)
