I need to design a modern Logo and name style for a business specialising in boat pre-purchase inspections & vessel surveys (for peace of mind when buying a boat) I would like it to generate trust in the company name and easy to remember, so people remember it first when thinking of buying a boat & having the boat inspected or surveyed by me.
Similar to how Hoover became known as a word for a vacume cleaner rather than the brand :)

Reason: Hi Guys and Girls! Very sorry as i had to go away for a few days so I hadn't had time to look at any submissions this week!
Just need a little more time to check them all and make some changes etc and get a few more ideas :)
They all look great though so I'm a little blown away by all the great submissions !!

Reason: Sorry everyone I just need a little more time to fine tune a few of the designs that I'm considering ;)
Really this is my first time using this service and is a learning curve for me getting to deal with so many talented designers!
Some great designs have been delivered so far, a few friends are also helping me change a few designs with your help of course. (Hence the time extension) once I do choose a design we should be able to complete the handover within a week or so as I think only very minor tweaks would be needed given the quality of all these great logo's submitted already, the ultimate decision will be what is best for my company image and marketing.
There may also be some small projects available over the next year for a few other things like business cards and T shirt designs etc for the winning designer for my business "inspectaboat"

- Boats, vessels, inspector gadget type logo ? unsure about that but i'm a little flying blind on the design side of things ;)
- the images i've uploaded are just samples of what i thought some elements or insight may be gained from and are not exactly what i'm looking for, just helpful graphics to understanding the standard industry type logo's already out there. I like some elements of them but not all.
