Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for a new project based in Bermuda called the Shore Savers Project.

This project is managed and funded by a non-profit called Bermuda Ocean Explorers, which focuses on ocean conservation, education and adventure.

The purpose of this project is to raise awareness of the marine debris and plastic pollution problem in Bermuda by visiting all the named beaches and bays which have a sand, conduct a site survey including debris transects and then actually clean the beach, weigh and categorize the debris and dispose of it properly.

Many of our clean ups will include removal of debris from the ocean, and these efforts will fall under the Project AWARE 'Dive Against Debris' program as seen at www.projectaware.org.

• The most common bits of debris we collect from beaches include cigarettes, plastic bottle caps, plastic cups, empty oil cans, plastic bottles, plastic bags, commercial fishing glow sticks, glass bottles, shards of plastic and plastic confetti, fishing line, dead fish, shoes, shoe soles, caps and so on.
  
  If the logo could subtlety include one or more of these elements in the logo, it may be acceptable but whatever the result, has to be something that will look cool on diving rash guards, t-shirts, scuba diving cylinders, pens and other promotional collateral.
  
  I have a design concept where the between the words 'Shore' and 'Savers' is a circle icon image and with it designed well, at a glance it resembles SOS - 'Shore (o) Savers'. That's one idea. The Bermuda Ocean Explorers logo and the Project AWARE logos both use blue. We can use blues in this logo as well. Looking for something cool, edgy, attractive and eye-catching.

No debería tener

• The logo should not have anything specific representing Bermuda, such as the Bermuda island map or the Bermuda triangle, since the Shore Savers Project will soon scale to other islands. Definitely do not want old-style fonts. We aim to save fish and marine life in the process of removing plastic pollution from the ocean. If we were to choose one animal to possibly represent the Shore Savers in it's logo, I'm honestly not sure which.
