What size should the banner have? In terms of pixels

I am not entirely sure myself Autumne sadly.  I plan to design the rest of the site around the header.  I have now asked Typepad to see what the default size is.  I will hopefully get back to you later today.

Been told 800 x 200 pixels is a good size.

Hi!! I''ve looking TypePad Blogs, and you can choose a theme, Have you already choosen any? Can you send and screenshot of it? The following is teh link where you can find them.

Daisy, I have not.  You are free to choose any and if I choose your header, I will use the theme you based your header on.  I do not want a black theme though.
