We need a logo design for IOLITE Global Consulting, a boutique consulting company focused on building and growing businesses. We work with clients across many sectors in many locations, helping with branding, marketing and business development. Frequently we help our customers launch new initiatives, products, or start-up ventures. We also help with re-branding, re-positioning and strategy.
We would like to see designs that use purple. It should communicate growth, trustworthiness / dependability and sophistication.
We love fonts. We love design. We love bold color.
Think Audrey Hepburn taking a modern day Bugatti Veyron or Koenigsegg CCX for a spin. Think timeless sophisticated elegance meeting top notch innovation. Sleek, well designed. Not trying too hard to get attention on it's own, but nevertheless commanding a second glance. Distinctive, sophisticated.

We know the name is a little long.We generally refer to ourselves as "iolite global". So, we would lookat logos that emphasize the word 'iolite' or 'iolite global', as long as theentire string is written somewhere. It could be two tiers with 'iolite' on oneline and 'global consulting' on the next. The tricky thing with this logo isthe "i" can look like an "L". So it's best to try to useall lowercase "iolite" or uppercase "IOLITE". We've tendedto adapt towards all caps when we type it.
We thought about logos that areexpressive of the traits of iolite. Togive you background:
IOLITE Global Consulting is namedfor the multifaceted gemstone, iolite (eye-o-light) which legend describes asguiding Norwegian sailors across the seas to new lands. Like the gemstone, we are guiding people.
Additionally, the gemstone has aunique ability to change color depending upon the way you view it - it changesfrom purple, to a bluish color to a creamy yellow. We see this as relating toperspective - and demonstrating that it's important to view your business andmarketing efforts from many perspectives (especially the customer'sperspective).
It's a stone that is difficult tocut, but when it is done well, it shines brilliantly.
We know the name is a littlecumbersome, and that's why we generally say "IOLITE Global". But we never just refer to ourselves asiolite. Mostly because it is an existing product to help people get high. (Thismakes us smile when we think about it). Anyway, no need to confuse the world,so please make sure in the logo that the words 'global' and 'consulting' showup somewhere.
Please don't be boring. We lovefonts. We love design. We love bold color.
At the same time, we want to have atimeless quality to the logo and we want people to be able to read it -especially because many of them are from other countries.
