We're looking for a logo that is:
1. Modern
2. Organic
3. Sophisticated, yet playful

As far as design goes, I very much appreciate the clean, classic look of Calvin Klein - the clothing, the design, the logo (www.calvinklein.com). The company's original business card was written with brown lettering with a green tree branches in the back ground - this was great as it spoke to the the approachable, organic nature of what we bring to the educational market. But, now, while our feel is the same, our look needs to be more professional, and the look needs to work online.

The company is woman-led, math tutoring company that primarily focuses on working with middle and high school students one-on-one (and some college students, too). We are in the process of expanding off our current business and building a website - where the logo will appear. We have a reputation of making math very approachable to all students. And, because we are led by a woman and are approachable, more female students are drawn to us than male - but we don't want to put off any male clients. We always communicate openly and honestly with parents, so our logo needs to be professional as well as trustworthy. Together, what we would love a logo that says that makes it clear that we tutor Math, we are dependable, and we are great at what we do.
