I need a high end online store for the sale of dog products (collars, leashes, coats etc), products for their owners (pyjamas, cosmetic bags, pencil cases, gift wrapping paper, greeting cards etc) and the owners home (ring holders, cushion covers, throws etc).

Please peruse the following website for a vauge idea of slightly similar stores:

Please keep in mind these are breed specific sites. I intend for the business to sell to trending dog breeds, for example, currently in Australia, French Bulldogs and Dachshunds are trending; therefore this will be the business's current focus.

I also intend for this website to be more elegant and refined than the websites mentioned above. Similar to top names brands, with a hint of cuteness to appeal to the animal lover within customers.

Objetivo del mercado(s)

Distinguished Dogs' target market is majority females, late 20's - 40's, either single, in a relationship, or with children who have left the home. They own small and pampered dogs and treat these dogs like their children. They will have a high disposable income.

I want the brand to attract elitist clientele. Comment has been made that people mightn't be able to spell Distinguished when searching for the website; those are not the type of customers I want to attract. I think it may be difficult to encapsulate these two target ideas into the brand; I'd like is to appeal to both the 'Melbourne Socialite' and the Noosa stereotype of "I'm too cool to show it, but I really care what you think"

The products will be, for the most part, unique to the market, a few examples include:

custom hand made collars and leads reflecting current human fashion trends;
leather coats for dogs;
flannel pyjamas for dog;
chef's hats for dogs;
furniture which incorporates dogs beds (blanket box, coffee table, bedside table)
bags, cushions, throw rugs, pyjamas made from various dog print fabrics;
fine leather handbags and purses with various and discreet dog themed embellishments;
custom gift wrapping paper etc etc

Amazing customer service and high quality are two of the core values of Distinguished Dogs.

The business will be run through the website as well as high-end markets around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
