Hi Guys, will we need to leave space for sponsorship logo on the badge? ie CellC, Vodacom, Absa etc..
Hi Garth, thanks for this. We've just heard word that there may well be a title sponsor, therefore yes it is likely we will have to lock in the sponsor logo into the overall logo. Are you able to leave a space, or do you need to know who that sponsor will be and me to send their logo? Happy to do so if you are happy to keep things confidential. Thanks, Duane Heath, Project Manager: Gold Cup.
Hi Mr. Heath,
I personally think keep it confidential, the only thing we (designers) would need to know is the format of the logo..SO if it is ABSA - then upload a blank Rectangle- if it is FNB - Then a circle with a Rectangle.. etc.. I'm sure you would like to keep things under wraps before the launch of the new identity..
Also on that note - colours: would they include the sponsors colours or whatever the designer wants?
Regards
Garth
Hi Garth, the logo is a bit unusual in shape but also filled with various colours - so I think it best to let you know what it is. It is Multichoice (the digital company that owns SuperSport, etc.) - you can find the logo on their website homepage www.multichoice.co.za. It is quite colourful, but in terms of colours for the logo, there is no preference on our side. Therefore you are free to use colours from the sponsor logo or whatever you think is best. As per the brief it is a very "colourful" tournament and so I imagine the logo possibly being quite vibrant although simple. It's uniquely African and in some way that needs to come through in the final design - does that make sense? Thanks, Duane
It does make sense! Great thank you..
hi there,
Dear client please review my logo and provide feedback .
Thank you in advance and best regards.
