We need a logo for our new startup company Kallos Designs LLC which was founded in July 2013. The company is dedicated to the creation and marketing of art of several types. The primary product is metal lawn ornaments on a post which press into the ground in order to beautify a lawn or garden area. An example is a sailboat, cross, and lighthouse. Each design will mimic a particular entity, not just a random sailboat but a particular type of vessel such as a yawl, catch, or sloop. The lighthouse designs will be ones particular locations such as the one at Holland, Michigan. The second line of product consists of original photographs presented on canvas and metal substrates for decoration of the home. The themes for the metal signs and printed art products will be similar including water, birds, sunset, and marine themes such as lighthouses. The color scheme is wide open but we would encourage something that utilized natural colors as found in nature since many products will feature nature scenes. This logo will be feature on our home page and throughout the company literature on the online store, Ebay store page, and printed materials.

Kallos is an ancient Greek noun meaning "beauty." The spelling with one "l" as in "kalos" is the adjective, and we have both in mind for the company's products and image. The idea is something like "I saw a sunset of magnificent kallos.
