I require a talented and creative graphic designer to give my news site TheMonkeyFeed a face lift.

Please be aware that the design does not have to be the same layout as the current design. My developer will code your psd to the new design.

The site will cover:
News, Startup founder interviews, Tech, startup related articles, funding etc.
Think of Techcrunch.com, Fransisco bay area, Silicon Valley.

*Also, I need a contact page. Approximately 6 buttons, (categories) listing for the user/reader to select from if they choose to work with me or submit content. (Think of the Designcrowd options to choose from)

Requisitos

• Main Page - A unique homepage design including the header!
• Must have a custom header including custom logo- TheMonkeyFeed in the header
• (Wecome to the jungle) as the sub heading.
• - An awesome UI
• - Cool Tab design
• Home | News | Video, (please add social icons).
• - A footer
• - Subscribe button
• - Search bar
• - Staff (profile) sidebar maybe, towards bottom right.
• - Featured stories
• 2nd page. A contact area list of categories to select from.

Agradable de tener

• Overall, a sleek home page. Not over done. Sometimes less is more. I like what Techcrunch did with their time line. IE: (Posted an hour ago-vertical)
• www.wired.com is cool also, although I don't want to copy them.
• A good use of color tones. I like greyish colors. But it would need another color to compliment it. You can use black and red also!
• Feel free to try other colors and fonts.
• The header are must be uniquely designed.

No debería tener

• Google images or free pics/images from shutter stock or any free image sites.
• Cheap looking palm trees or free monkey images. (This is a professional news site)
• No cheap looking designs. I have a good eye for this, I will know if you're using free images.
• Please be aware that the design does not have to be the same layout as the current design/link below. My developer will code your psd to the new design.

• No pink colors or crazy hyper colors. I'm trying to attract VC'S AND ANGELS.
• No Wordpress quick mockups please.
• No plain text headings. I need a CUSTOM DESIGNED header.
