Poster size: will be A3 size when printed and the poster will be used on the website.

Entries are open to all members of the public.

Entry Fee
Entry fee is $30.00 per event includes: Entry entitles each competitor to nominate and swim in any one distance, an event swim cap, breakfast on completion, bottle of water, product vouchers from our sponsors. Competitors will receive completion ribbon on completion.

Series Events 1- 4: Prize money is offered for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters in the 3,330 meter distances in events 1,2,3,4 and Fannie Bay Classic

400m event – perfect for those who can swim a little and want to challenge themselves a little more, Minimum age is 8 years
1200m event – this is for those swim regularly and want to challenge the clock. Minimum 9yrs of age
2500m event – for the serious minded swimmer or athlete who likes a challenge. Minimum age is 10 years
3330m event - for those serious athletes, minimum age is 12 years

Event 5: 3 September 2016 Open Water Championships

1,200m event - Ribbons for all competitors, medals for placegetters 12yrs & under, 13-15yrs, 16-20yrs, 21-29yrs, 30+ Prize money of $100 will be awarded to the first male and female placegetter $50 will be awarded to the second male and female placegetter, $25 will be awarded to the third male and female placegetter


2500m event – Medals for placegetters 12yrs & under, 13-15yrs, 16-20yrs, 21-29yrs, 30+. Prize money of $700 will be awarded to the first placegetter, $200 will be awarded to the second placegetter,$100 will be awarded to the third placegetter

5,000m event – Medals for placegetters 12-15yrs, 16-20yrs, 21-29yrs, 30+. Prize money of $100 will be awarded to the first male and female placegetter, $50 will be awarded to the second male and female placegetter, $25 will be awarded to the third male and female placegetter.

10,000m event – Medals for placegetters 12-15yrs, 16-20yrs, 21-29yrs, 30+. Prize money of $100 will be awarded to the first male and female placegetter, $50 will be awarded to the second male and female placegetter, $25 will be awarded to the third male and female placegetter.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes
Children must be 8 years to compete in the 400m events.
Children must be 9 years old for 1,200meters,
Children must be10 years old to compete in the 2,500meters
Children must be12 years old to compete in the 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter events.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Competitors cannot use flotation devices
Competitors can wear rash shirts for Events 1,2,3 and 4
Competitors can wear FINA approved Open water swim suits.
