Hi, Storyworks is a small film and TV production company based in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. We create documentaries, music videos, short films and corporate / branded films.

The three core members of our team are all passionate creative storytellers but also have strong technical skills, and this is the essence of our company - we're all about creative filmmaking and working hard to put substance over style - and we have the expertise to deliver.
Our logo should convey that, perhaps a clever contrast between the softer creative side, the "Story", and the nuts and bolts side, the "Works".

As a small team, our work is often personal and bespoke, so our logo should feel more bespoke and unique than too slick or corporate. Simple and strong rather than too elaborate ideally.

As filmmakers, our logo should have good potential for animation, so we can create 3-5 second animated sting versions to use in our films etc. This animated logo ( separate project ) will ultimately have interesting sound effects associated with it, so considering this when designing the static logo would be helpful.

Another aspect of our company is that we are based in the beautiful mountains of the deep south of little old New Zealand, but we are very well travelled and the scope of our work and projects is global. A tagline to our logo will likely be "Take your story to the world"

Final thing to consider ( we don't want much eh! ) - an abbreviated version we can use as a small circular favicon on Youtube, Vimeo, etc, profiles is important. This could just be the abbreviation SW or perhaps a symbol related to the logo or simplified version of the logo.
