Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a new logo design for a company called Lithos. Lithos builds camera support equipment, and is working on bringing their first product to the marketplace, the Lithos Pursuit Tripod system. Lithos in greek is a word that means stone, as in a foundation for something. We would like a logo that encompasses the idea of “Supporting Creation”. Our tripod is a system that allows the user to deploy all the legs with one action, and we plan to target high end film professionals with this product. The design should be in black and white. The final design should:

communicate stability and support (our first product’s mantra is one action, one movement, one moment)
be timeless, not a modern design that will fade in relevance in a decade
Be very clean and minimal
Have the letter “L” in it
be a flat design.

Imagine this stamped on a carbon fiber rod or a piece of black aluminium. A couple of logos we really like are Airbnb logo for its ability to incorporate connection between people into the design, and the Beats by Dre logo for its ability to incorporate the letter but also make the design look like a set of headphones.
