Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Hello

We need a logo for our projet, Economics Games.
We design games for teaching economics (mostly for higher education, but we are starting to think about maybe creating more casual games). Our websites: http://aireconsim.com and economics-games.com

The general idea that we want to convey is that our games are educative (with "real content") and also fun. We need a balance between those, but for now, the educative part is the most important. There is also a definite link between the games and the research in experimental economics.

As for whether the logo should represent something, or use the letters of the firm (EG) or just be some kind of abstract graphic image, we are a priori open to all of these.

If you decide to have the logo represent something, be careful: there is some (small) part of random in the games but we do not want to emphasize this. It is more about strategy and analysis than luck. So I would probably not use any reference to a dice (or at least not as a central reference). Also, I would avoid using joysticks.

If I had to choose now, I think I would favor "warm colours" and logos rather than cold colors and industrial logos, but this is not an absolute directive.

• Joysticks (too "action game" oriented), pie charts (pie charts are more and more considered as very bad data representations by "data professionals", because it is very difficult to see a difference in size from a slice of the pie to the other: I would also advise you to avoid them for any other professional data oriented/economics project).
