what does transcription mean, typing, or translating

Transcription means typing :)

i.e. converting audio to text

what kind of thing do you not want to see in your logo, for instance, I'm sure I read this post earlier and it said no moons stars etc. I'm assuming you would still prefer not to see these,

Originally I did say no moons or stars but then I realised that my vision of moons and stars was pretty lame and that one of you designers could probably come up with something far more interesting than what I've been conjuring in my mind, so I didn't want to rule it out as it is an evening service. I envisaged an image that relates to either listening to audio or typing/transcription. I don't mind an image of a computer but I really want to steer away from images that look like generic clip art which is why I was leaning more towards headphones or something along those lines. I want a logo that people in the business can look at and think typing service. So it could be headphones or an old school typewriter - Something a bit different but still recogniseable as being a transcription company or like a business that operates online.
