Wow! Lots of creativity here. Thank you all for your contributions. We are still looking though, by seeing what you are producing, have narrowed the focus a bit.

We recognize that we may not have been clear enough. Thanks to your submissions, we see patterns and offer the following observations in hopes of helping you be the contest winner!

3 important factors:
GENDER implications
Our specs rating of masculine vs feminine approach was middle - we don't want to reflect one gender vs the other.

Many designs are very masculine and tend to express what traditionalists might see as representing strength- metallic, dark, lots of straight lines suggests very process focused and rigid, or maybe a superhero type image.

In mediation, there is a great deal of fluidity, inclusiveness, equity. There is no clearly defined path one must take because participants are creating their own solution. Please avoid the metallic, masculine or fluffy feminine. Think neutral, self-empowered problem solving through facilitated dialogue, negotiation - not a competition for dominance.

BALANCE.
Designs depicting people (except one) have an even number of people at the table. With an even number, there is one side of an issue or the other side. Where's the mediator?

There are always at least 2 'sides' at the table AND there is the mediator whose job is to help the disputing sides reach a mutually agreeable solution. One submission presented a balanced idea with 3 parties at the table - that one is currently on the top of the list for revisions.

COLOR
Reds tend to imply fight vs resolve. We are loving the color suggestions by many that involve, blues, grays, greens and complimentary colors.

THANK YOU!!
This is the best process ever. I will be sure to promote this approach, and this site specifically, among all of my contacts. Contest open until June 14 - can't wait to see what's next!
