Please clarify whether you want a logo, a banner, or both, and if you want a banner, please provide its exact parameters. Thanks.

We are looking for a banner and want a logo incorporated into it. Below is the specs from the webdesigner...


"These open government sites are wider than many because of the width demands of some of the data displays.

The Idaho site has a content area width of 980px, and the banner width will probably be between 970 & 980.
The height would typically range between 90 to 110. The logo can also use square or more vertical aspect ratios that don't fit well in these banner dimensions as well (and be floating/overlaid left or right).

I will round corners as needed, with a radius that is consistent with other nearby rounding.

I think Erik is asking for a standalone logo that incorporates both the name and the "product of." text. That is a lot to squeeze into a logo.
If you construct your design as a logo in a banner with the text I will be able to use that also, but we need Erik's ok for that approach.

O Erik, is it ok for Wendy to have the text "a product of the Idaho Freedom Foundation and IdahoReporter.com" outside the logo as such, but still part of a banner design? YES
