Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We require a logo design for revamping the image of our seminar center, based in the outskirts of Bern, the capital of Switzerland, at the crossroads of urban and rural life.

The place is called Landguet Ried which in German means Domain of Ried – it has a taste of a manorial property, with forests, arable land and animals on it.

The seminar center will develop as a center for mindful living, specializing in programmes and activities that promote a mindful way of life: mindfulness training, yoga, scientific encounters, mindful education, mindful leadership, compassion training, sustainable agriculture, vegetarian cooking, etc.


The center also provides seminar facilities and accommodation for group and individual visitors searching for a space that promotes self-reflection and intimacy, encourages deep thinking and creativity and fosters authentic exchanges among participants, all that in a secluded yet close-to-the-city environment, surrounded by trees, forest and arable land.

The logo needs to communicate the qualities of a natural environment, the calmness, vitality and simplicity gained from life in nature - Some key words: resourcesfulness, calmness, vitality, insight, creativity, relaxation, connection, personal growth, wealth, abondance, earth, trees, learning and education– Maybe a parallel can be found between “growing vegetables and fruits on the land” and “growing your own potential as a human being” –
It is also important to convey professionalism: how mindful living can be integrated into a modern way of life

The center’s slogan will be:
Landguet Ried, a centre for mindful living
