Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for a new medical cannabis dispensary called 'Canada's Best Buds'. Based out of British Columbia, Canada, this fast-paced and cutting-edge business is leading the curve towards the country's legalization of marijuana.

Our preferred design would be timeless, professional and simple. We're open to something creative, but don't want it to come across cartoonish. Our favourite typography is Helvetica or other clean fonts. We would like to see designs that have a lot of white space and use nature-inspired colours, like green, blue or purple.

Other logos that inspire us: Apple, Pixar, Twitter, Dole.

With the right logo, we will also be looking for business cards.

The final design should communicate feelings of health, serenity, and growth.

Primarily ages 40 to 60. This age group is looking for a professional and respectful experience and to be regular, repeat visitors. It's important to design promotional materials that are professional, subtle and respectful.

Target market fits the West Coast lifestyle: laidback, health-conscious, and in touch with nature. Customers may be retired, in a vacation home, or of the "work to live, not live to work" mindset. They have disposable income, a relaxed attitude towards recreation and are looking for expertise and to build trust.

• 'Best Buds' text must be large and visible. 'Canada's' can be smaller or even incorporated in an image, instead of text.
• Design must be timeless and eye-catching.

Agradable de tener

• A pictoral representation to accompany the text (or as a replacement to the text) would be nice to have. For example, the visual 'Apple' is synonymous with Steve Job's business.

No debería tener

• The logo should not be childish or amateur. I don't like Comic Sans font or overly busy designs.
