Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am launching a new personal artist/ filmmaker website for my documentary film work and creative photography. Here is the description of the work:

"Combine equal parts dancer, environmentalist & filmmaker. Stir vigorously for a conservation entrepreneur motivated to create films that spread ripples."

I need some basic design and logo branding assets created before I launch in the coming month.

Here's a terrible quality logo I put together for use on my social media outlets; black and white, and the style of font is right, the ocean / waves theme / texture incorporated is great, but quality is shit. I'm not a designer :)

I want the overall design inspiration to be modern and slick, but also recognize the ocean/ water theme (drop, wave etc shapes or pieces of those shapes) great.

**KEY: The meaning of "Ren" is japanese for love, for lotus. The idea of a lotus dropping into water and creating ripples along with the name "Christine Ren Films" would work well.

I've considering a cursive/ signature logo, but I get worried people can't or won't be able to read it.
