Resumen de Diseño Web

We need a creative remake design (from rough mock-ups) for our social networking platform. We are a US-based start-up company called Network EverAfter. Our platform allows high-caliber students and young professionals that are part of established networks to reconnect online. It also has an element of Couchsurfing.com (host exchange system). In terms of the layout, it can therefore be considered a combination of:
- LinkedIn (CV style profiles)
- Facebook (messaging, pictures, posts, etc.)
- Couchsurfing

UPDATE: We have been asking a few people to try to implement a map of the world (maybe just the outlines) as a backdrop to the platform, but in such a way that it is only faintly noticeable and doesn't become distracting to the platform.

If we really like your designs we may approach you for future designs for a collection of other businesses on a freelance basis (we work out of an incubator).


CONDITIONS: We are only asking for 2 pages as examples (attached PDFs). There may be an opportunity for you to design the rest of the platform as well.

• Base colours (can contain any combination of the following—you can also exclude blue if you like):
  - Dark grey (almost black)
  - lighter greys
  - white
  - blue
  
  In terms of the design, please base it on the functional layouts we have provided (attached files). Feel free to redesign as you wish (both in colour and structure), as long as it keeps the functionality outlined by the rough sketches.
  - please redesign the icons at the top (News Feed, Events, NetStay, Expeditions) to a very simple and attractive format
  
  
  NOTE: Please provide one design for each of the 2 PDF files ('NetSurf' and 'Profile') to show us how you creatively visualise the platform ('NetSurf' is the most up-to-date version considering the icons on the top and the general layout). Please also consider the attached logo to get a feeling of our brand.

Agradable de tener

• We would be happy to see a creative infusion of the colourful colours of our logo (see attached file). With this, it would be important that it would be kept to a minimum (as otherwise it will be distracting), so a good place to include it may be in the icons that direct people around the site, or in other parts that are more creative—up to you!
