Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Task:
We need a logo design for a new mobile technology company called MobiSnap.

About the company:
MobiSnap offers up and coming business owners (e.g., artists, restaurants, fitness shops, hair salons, lawyers...any type of business) the ability to convert their existing mobile-friendly website into an app. Developing an app is a huge undertaking (think of Mobi as in the story of Mobi Dick and the legend of that HUGE whale), but with MobiSnap, it happens quickly - in a SNAP!

MobiSnap's culture is young, friendly, playful, approachable, simple yet highly intelligent with a DIY mentality. We are not a suit-and-tie company that is selling B2B software services that are so complicated that the client doesn't understand it. Instead, we are a group of innovators who want to roll up their sleeves and help young entrepreneurs and businesses (like ourselves) get into the mobile app world with easy-to-use tools, and maximize on what they already have (a mobile-friendly website).

Our mascot as we envision it is a whale or a norwhal (norwhale) - see attached photo of stuffed toy for inspiration :-)

Mascot expression should convey attitude - see attached examples for showing attitude expression only - but we don't want a bee, or a mouse - only showing facial expression.

Things to keep in mind:
The logo will be used predominantly for web and mobile, but may also extend to printed promo materials (shirts, hats, etc.). The selected design will also need to be provided in the form of an icon only to be used for the mobile app. We would like to see the logo visual be able to live with and without the full name "MobiSnap."

Winning designer will provide the logo in horizontal and vertical format (if applicable) as well as icon only, and will provide these in all standard formats, also on transparent background.
