Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Background:
The ETH Zurich and Inspire AG are hosting the new conference "Additive Manufacturing in Products and Applications, AMPA". The scientific conference will be held from September 13th to 15th 2017 at ETH Zurich and covers all topics necessary to launch and establish an additive manufactured serial product in the market.
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is group of manufacturing technologies to produce 3D objects in a layer-by-layer process. Additive manufacturing's capabilities allow products with more complex parts, higher performance, lightweight designs and customization.
Mass media often uses the term 3D printing for additive manufacturing, which professional users and researchers don't like for multiple reasons.

Task:
The conference needs a logo design, which will be used in flyers, websites, slides and printed publications.
The conference focuses on industrial applications of AM to create industrial and end-user products. The logo should therefore communicate AM's contribution to innovation, better products and new business models.

• The logo design will be placed on a white (e.g. printed on paper) and wine red (website, see screenshot) background. It must match both colors.

Agradable de tener

• It would be nice to have the logo in two versions: a short version with only the abbreviation "AMPA" (must have) and an additional long version with the full title "Additive Manufacturing in Products and Applications" with the abbreviation "AMPA"

No debería tener

• Please do not refer to makerbots, fab-labs or home-printing of toys.
