Resumen de Diseño Gráfico

I have a small (14ft) racing sailboat and want a logo to go along with the name of the boat. The name I have chosen for the boat is "Gander", which is short for "Michigander" and a reference to where the boat was built and where the owner is originally from.

I am looking for a logo to reflect the name. I have in mind an outline of a flying goose, imposed over an outline of the state of Michigan. I am open to other ideas though and might prefer something that is more stylized over something more literal.

Single color preferred, but would consider 2 colors if it makes the logo work better.

I have added a picture of my boat. I don't have a full picture of it right now and it is on the other side of the country. If you google "2.4mR" you will see many images of the boat.
