Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The Red Sock Club : A website offering 3 types of Red Socks for men. Aiming to create a community of red sock wearing individuals, who can show some personality through their socks may it be @ work or @ play. All this whilst helping raise awareness and money for charity.

I need a logo design for this new start up ... Initially my thoughts were a circular badge which incorporates the business name and a sock (Red). But my mind is open to letting the professionals do their thing!!! Simplistic and bold is what i'm looking for.

The picture i upload was literally my first thought and should not be set in stone, Feel free to run with this logo in whatever direction you think best.
