We need a logo design for a new company called Castles and Kitchens. Our initial product is video episodes that combine travel with cooking. We are developing a web/television show. We travel throughout the world, and for each new location, we go to local food vendors (produce, meat, fish, etc) and to local restaurants to learn about the foods that are local to that area, and the recipes and meals that people eat. We buy the local foods and go back to our kitchen and make the recipes we've learned about. We show our audience how to talk to people (vendors, local citizens) and to communicate with them, even if we don't know the language.
We know that travel to a place where people may not speak your language can be daunting. We’ll show you how we have learned to communicate with folks around the globe by knowing a few important words and phrases and building a trust with people so that they want to share the unique features of their town and food.
Our audience is people who like to travel, but who want a deeper travel experience. Age range: Millenials through retirees. Household income that supports cooking local ingredients at home, as well as travel. People who enjoy being with friends for home dinners. People who are interested in immersing themselves into a local culture's people, food, and history.
We would like a design that is simple and that combines the idea of castles (travel) and kitchens (cooking local meals). The final design should work as four color, one color, and on light and dark backgrounds. It should communicate the idea that anyone can learn to have a more enriched travel experience through watching our shows and using the recipes on our web site.
