Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for my new Web application project, "Gear Task." Gear Task is a service that connects two time tracking applications to reduce the amount of time freelancers and small businesses spend on data entry. The Gear Task web site will be the location where freelancers configure their own Gear Task service. The logo will appear on our Web site, Twitter account, business cards, email signature, and on 3rd party sites.

The logo should have a mechanical look and feel. No other text other than "Gear Task" should be used in the logo. The text can be displayed in any case or format that makes sense (i.e. GEARTASK, gear task, geartask, Gear Task, etc.)

Thank you all for your submissions thus far. I'm going to continue to provide feedback and eliminate designs that either do not match our criteria or are no longer in the running to be chosen as the winner due to stronger submissions from other designers.


Please note that I'm not looking for a check mark logo or a logo that implies that a list is complete (i.e. an item being checked off of a list). Our Web site will have an industrial/mechanical look and feel, so the logo will need to fit within that theme.

Thank you everyone for your submissions! I will be narrowing the submissions down to a small group and must begin eliminating designs. I will do my best to provide feedback, but please know that if your design is eliminated, it means that there is at least one other design I like better.


If you are eliminated, please feel free to submit a new, fresh design and concept and I'll be happy to review it before the deadline.
