Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Yahoo did it. Now it's Bing's turn. Bing, the search engine by Microsoft, has unveiled a new logo to mixed reviews. We're inviting the international design community to submit alternative Bing logo designs. Designs can be submit humorous, satirical or genuine. All ideas welcome.

Background: After "months" of research including "hundreds of studies to look at motion, font, color, size and form", the new Bing logo has arrived. The objective behind refreshing the new logo was to "create a new visual identity that best reflected Bing as part of the Microsoft family."

The new logo has been named a "Searchlight Graphic" (ha!) and has informed the design language across Bing products: "We’ve taken inspiration from the new Bing symbol by taking all angles to infinity and adding in levels of color and transparency to add depth and energy."

Designers your job is to create a new Bing logo design.
- The logo should be "simple, real and direct."
- The symbol, a stylized ‘b’, evokes a sense of movement, direction and energy.
- The new design should fit and reflect the "Microsoft family" brand of products.
- The new design should reflect Bing's mission to "find and do" rather than search.

Colour:
- Color palette: Orange and Yellow
- Orange 124
- "For Bing, we are focusing primarily on the orange, yellow and warmest colors of the palette. Our hero color is Orange 124 and our primary palette was chosen to embody the characteristics that those colors usually evoke – clarity, confidence and warmth."

Typeface: The Bing logo leans heavily on Segoe. You can use this font or select another. The choice is yours.
