Resumen de Diseño de Logo

"Catify My Home" is a new company I have just started up. I will be selling cat toys, mats, scratchers and things. These items will help a domestic cat - living with humans in their house - feel comfortable, loved, psychologically and physically healthy, at ease and emotionally balanced.

[In the pet industry, "catifying" is an actual word that basically means "doing major or minor carpentry projects like making ceiling-height walkways, adding cat furniture, wrapping table legs with scratchable sisal rope etc etc...anything that makes our homes more cat-friendly"]

I need a simple company logo that pictorially captures these connotations and is modern, minimalist, wry and simple - without being sterile or spartan. I would also like an appropriate font for the text "Catify My Home" that reflects and supports these feelings. Probably non-serif and although I would like the font to suggest gentleness and well-being, I don't want it to be childish (no Comic Sans) or difficult to read from a distance (no frilly cursive).

My best idea so far (and I am not a creative graphic designer so you kind folks reading this will no doubt come up with something much, much better) is a black and white outline of a house and roof (a square with a triangle on top, hand drawn, with a smiling cat sleeping inside. All black ink, minimal outlines. And the company name underneath. Too much info? Amateurish idea? Sorry :) just wanted to convey, with an example, the tone of the project.
