Resumen de Diseño de Logo

UPDATE (Sept 29): Thanks for the great submissions thus far! Based on the work I've seen, please see the points below:
- This logo should convey a rustic and simple feel. The general icon should be simple enough for a 5 year old to draw, yet stylized like a Wes Anderson drawing.
- Some of the imagery it could conjure includes: adventure, hospitality, outdoors, camping, navigation, celebration.
- I've also uploaded additional inspiration - geographical markers, compasses.
- I've uploaded a sketch (IMG_5213) exploring further some of the ideas y'all have put out. Thanks again!

We need a logo design for a new company offering event accommodation. Think of it as a mobile or temporary 'pop-up hotel' for private and public events. We offer hard-walled, lockable units as well as a variety of tents and domes. The name of the company is 'Where Inn'. We are based in Austin, TX. We would like to see designs that conjure the feeling of fun, outdoors, and comfort. The final design should be (or include) an icon that can be used as a stand alone symbol, like a badge or patch, for use on gear, on stamps, etc. Bonus if this icon / symbol can easily be made into a stencil (for use with spray paint). At the end of the day, the logo needs to be something that would be suitable for a high-end wedding, yet hip enough for a trendy camping music festival.

Live music fans in their 30s and 40s. Hip brides pondering a destination wedding in the outdoors. Individuals that don't like to camp per se, but enjoy adventure.

Requisitos

Debes tener

• It must consist of a compact crest / seal / stamp / icon, or include a stand alone icon to be pulled for use separate from the name, 'Where Inn'. The logo must convey a sense of adventure and celebration.

Agradable de tener

• It would be great if the logo could be easily made into a stencil to be used with spray paint. Geographic imagery is also nice (could use a folded map for the W, or a map location pin).

No debería tener

• No mountains or pine trees. Hills and other types of trees / vegetation are ok, but more often than not mountains and pine trees will not be a part of the experience. No standard tents. We will differentiate ourselves from other camping hotels by offering hard shell units (not just tents), so don't rely on standard tent imagery.
