why the winner less than the 2nd

That is controlled by Design Crowd not me. I put $170 on the initial project and then $100 for second place, so you will need to check with them.

Let me know what you find out. I'm bothered about that difference when that is not what I intended. I will check with them as well.

I contacted Design Crowd and they said the would compensate the designer to make it equal. I guess I didn't understand the second place prize very well.
