Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

Hello designers, OKANE CO. is in need of our very first shirt design! A little background about our company, we focus on Japanese inspired streetwear taking inspiration from Japanese pop culture, mythology, folklore, and the JP Yen. We want our clothing to appeal to everyone and be culturally correct but have a modern street style flair.

Concept: For our first shirt we wanted to start with something familiar to the general public in terms of Japanese culture which is why we decided to go with the Mankei Neko. Maneki Neko is known literally as the beckoning cat and is believed to bring luck to the owner.

Were looking for our design to based around the Maneki Neko but with street styling. Think of a modern gangster stylized Maneki Neko with chains, earrings, rings and a snapback.

Requisitos

Debes tener

• There are a few important details that we would like to maintain with our design:
• 1) White body on the Maneki Neko with red ear lobes
• 2) The Kanji in the coin is important, we would like to use the kanji from the coin in the yellow cat image.
• 3) We would like our design to be based on the one drawn on green paper. It should be used as a guideline but not as a final concept if that makes sense.
• 4)OVERALL IDEALIZATION: Gangster stylized maneki neko wearing chains instead of a collar, ear piercings, rings if possible, snapback etc.
• 5) This design will be used on the back on the back of a t-shirt so please keep that in mind as well.
• ALSO: We will be printing these designs on black t-shirts so please keep thatin mind when designing!

Agradable de tener

• It would be nice to have the hat read out our Company Name in block style lettering or perhaps TOKYO with a yen symbol for the Y.
• it would also be nice if there was stacks of yen around the cat to match the gangster style theme.

No debería tener

• Shouldn't be too cartoon-y or anime like.
