Resumen de Diseño Web

The job:

- Redesign our search result page http://www.menulog.com.au/takeaway/search.php?cartType=delivery&locationTerm=2000+-+Sydney+CBD
- The possibility for further jobs for the winning designer:
the contract to redesign the whole site look and feel (another 5-6 pages) and ongoing design work for newsletters, brochures, etc.

Our aim:

- Make the information shown more user friendly
- Improve the proportions/relative sizes of the various elements

Requirements:

- Must be simple, clean and user friendly design
- Most importantly, the information must be easy to understand

Guidelines:

- We prefer to keep the same, or a very similar selection of colours
- We do not want many graphics
- No animation or flash elements
- We do not need the “Vouchers Accepted = VA” link and the last column with VA

Icons:

- In "promotions" column we want to replace text with three icons for three type of specials, namely (except "free delivery", keep “free delivery” as text):
- “14%” or “14%Off” (First order discount)
- “7Free” (Loyalty discount. Order 6 times get 7th free)
- “Deal” (for all other deals)
- Icons should be simple, small, intuitive, and should replace the text in the last column.
- legend of icons should be located somewhere above the search results with a brief description
